“We are not a team because we play together. We are a team because we respect, trust and care for each other.”

Learn to Swim Program

The Seals Program is geared towards younger children who are learning to swim or who are not quite yet comfortable in a larger deep pool.  Practices are once a week at the YMCA pool and run Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The program consists of 10 sessions Fall Session information coming soon.

Adult Beginners Program

This program offers practices once a week on Wednesdayfrom 7:30 to 9:00 pm, with a coach.  The program is ideal for adult athletes who are learning the sport and would like the direction of a coach or for adult athletes who are entirely new to the sport.

Master Program

This program offers practices once a week on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, without a coach.  The program brings together athletes who have played water polo before and offers them the use of the water polo equipment during their practice.

Compeitive & Developmental Program

This program works on developing the athletes swimming ability, plus the skills needed to play the sport of water polo including ball handling, passing and shooting. There are also club level competitions, that the athlete can and is encouraged to participate in. This gives the athlete the ability to play games against similar aged and skilled children from other clubs within the province.  Practices are two times a week at the Shaw Centre and are on Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:00. The two age divisions for this category include, 13U and 14 plus.

Adult Plus Program

This is a new program that we would like to try and offer for this season.  This program basically combines the Adult Beginner program and the Adult Masters program for those athletes that want additional practices, with one being a coached session on Wednesdays.
