Ahoy, me hearties! We are Saskatoon’s only water polo club! Based out of the Shaw Centre, we offer developmental, recreational & competitive streams for all ages (yes, adults too!). We create an environment for all participants to learn, succeed & have fun!
Shaylin Pillay has been our captain (err, head coach) since 2018. During the 2016 & 2017 seasons, he coached our 12U program, as well as our learn-to-play program, ‘I Love Water Polo.’ He played with TeamSask from 2010 to 2015, and was a member of the U15 Canadian national team in 2013. His favorite water polo member is going to Florida with Water Polo Sask in 2012. He learned a lot about the game and enjoyed spending time under the sun with his teammates.
Ben Guest is our quartermaster (err, assistant coach). He started playing water polo when he was 11. During his years with TeamSask, he brought home a national championship gold medal in 2015, again in 2016 and a bronze medal in 2018. He was a member of the U17 Canadian national team in 2017 and competed in Peru.
The Board of Directors for the upcoming 2021/22 season will be posted once roles & responsibilities are confirmed.
