We’re inviting children ages 5 to 13 to join us for beginner-friendly water polo sessions at George Ward and Riversdale outdoor pools throughout June, July and August. These one-hour clinics are a great way to get active outdoors, learn new skills, and have fun in the pool with experienced coaches from the Saskatoon Pirates club.
Each session introduces kids to the basics of water polo, including dribbling, passing, and positioning, with fun drills, small games, and a short scrimmage to wrap things up. Participants will be grouped by age and experience level to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported.
No competitive swimming experience is required, kids just need to be comfortable in the water. Activities may take place in both shallow areas where participants can touch and in deeper water (depending on age and group level), and float belts, lifejackets, or other floatation devices will be available to help participants feel comfortable and supported as needed.
Pre-registration is required so we can plan equipment and group sizes accordingly.
